Jacob Dagan – CEO
Jacob Dagan is one of the founders of Senso Optics Ltd and has been the company’s CEO and President since its inception in the year 2000. Over a period of almost 20 years, Mr. Dagan served as an R&D Engineer, Systems Engineer, Project Manager and Director of Business Development for Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. Mr. Dagan has also held management and chief engineering positions in several companies in the US and Europe, including PFG Precision Optics Inc., Rafael USA, Wescam Inc., and Sabiex Int’l.
Jacob Dagan is an expert in Opto-Mechanical and Electro-Optical system design. Over the years, he has established three optical laboratories; two in Israel and one in Europe and has registered four international patents in the field of Opto-Mechanics.
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (IIT) and is a Major (Res.) in the Israel Defense Forces – Ordnance Corp.
Vice President R&D – Avi Katz
Avi Katz was the founder and CEO of Senso Electronics Ltd., previously a subsidiary of Senso Optics Ltd. When the two companies merged, Mr. Katz became the Vice President of R&D at Senso Optics, a title which he holds today. He has brought to Senso nearly 30 years of experience in R&D, product management and company management. Previously, Mr. Katz was an Independent Consultant in the field of wireless systems and media. Prior to that, he founded FireMedia Communications and served as its President and CEO for five years. Between 1982 and 1999, he held several positions at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd.
Mr. Katz holds an MBA degree from the The Recanati School of Business Administration, Tel-Aviv University and a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Beersheba University. He has two patents registered in the field of communications.
Vice President Marketing – Ziv Barak
Ziv Barak joined the Senso Optics team in 2010 as its Vice President of Marketing. Previously, Mr Barak was employed at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd where he held positions such as, Account Manager, Business Development Team Leader, Product Manager and International Marketing Manager in the Integrated Systems Directorate of Rafael’s Missile and NCW Division. He completed an internship at Enron Networks and was on Silicon Wadinet’s board of advisors.
Mr. Barak participated in the Merage Foundation’s Executive Leadership program in 2006 and received his MBA degree in Global Marketing from the School of Business at Haifa University. He has a B.Sc degree in Economics and Management from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technolgy. Mr. Barak was a Platoon Commander in the Israeli Defense Forces and holds the rank of Captain (Res.)
QA Manager – Dorith Dagan
Dorith Dagan serves as the QA Manager of Senso Optics. She has held this position since 2004. Ms. Dagan holds BA and MA degrees from Haifa University and was accredited in QA by the MATI Institute in Israel in 2006.
Production Manager – Ofer Hayari
Ofer Hayari has been Senso Optics’ Production Manager since 2007. Prior to that, he served as a Production Manager for companies in the metal industry and in the fields of electronics and medical equipment.
Mr. Hayari received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology and holds an M.Sc in Business from Ben Gurion University in Beersheba, Israel. He is a Lt. Colonel (Res.) in the Israel Defense Forces.
